Defense Health Agency (DHA) - Medical Q-Coded Services (MQS)
The Defense Health Agency has awarded 36 small-business positions on a potential five-year, $7.5 billion contract to provide medical staffing services to U.S. military treatment facilities.
The multiple-award contract solicited through FedBizOpps, contains a five-year ordering period.
Argent Technologies, LLC is a small business partner sub-contractor to one of the 36 identified Prime Contractor awardees within DHA MQS.
Under the MQS contract, Argent places qualified credentialed providers to Military Treatment Facilities worldwide.
Additionally, Argent is a GSA contract holder and vetted by VetBiz to work with the VA as a Prime Contractor.
What is DHA MQS?
DHA is the Defense Health Agency, MQS is the Medical Q-coded Series (MQS).
MQS is a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for small businesses. This contract will provide personal or non-personal medical services to supplement medical professionals currently stationed at MTFs managed by DHA and the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and U.S. Navy throughout the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico. (e.g., military personnel, DoD civilian employees or other contracted staff) in accomplishing its mission, by providing direct health care services to eligible beneficiaries.
Under the DHA MQS contract, contracting companies will provide physicians, nurses, dental and ancillary healthcare workers
- Physician Services: Primary and specialty care physicians who deliver routine, preventive, and specialty care services to patients.
- Nursing Services: Services provided by HCWs including, but not limited to, registered and/or licensed nursing personnel including all types of registered and advanced practice nurses as well as practical and vocational nurses.
- Ancillary Services: Services provided by HCWs who deliver patient treatment or assist in the provision of patient treatment including, but not limited to, audiologists, clinical laboratory personnel, dietitians, mid-level providers (i.e., nurse practitioners, physician assistants), occupational therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists, podiatrists, radiology support, respiratory therapists, speech pathologists, and clinical support staff such as medical assistants.
