{"id":3251,"date":"2026-08-19T14:46:57","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T14:46:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.argenttech.net\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=3251"},"modified":"2026-08-19T15:57:25","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T15:57:25","slug":"flight-medicine-physician-14","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/www.argenttech.net\/?awsm_job_openings=flight-medicine-physician-14","title":{"rendered":"Flight Medicine Physician"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Argent Technologies, LLC is seeking Flight Medicine Physicians for Joint Base Elmendorf\u2013Richardson, Anchorage, AK.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<span style=\"color: #800000;\">*<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Degree\/Education: <\/strong>Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Associations (AMA) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Basic Life Support (BLS):<\/strong> Possess and Maintain current BLS. The card must display the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross or Military Training Network emblem. <span style=\"color:red;\">Web-based classes do not meet required standards.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certifications in addition to BLS: <\/strong>Must have current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internship\/Residency\/Fellowship:<\/strong> Completion of an accredited internship and residency program (corresponding to the specialty of Aerospace Medicine) approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> The applicant <span style=\"background-color:yellow;\">must have a minimum of 35 hours of direct patient care in the past year. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in the last 7 years having served as a privileged flight surgeon at a US Military installation<\/span>, with experience in: &#8211; U.S. military medical standards to conduct special operational evaluations, including (but not limited to) Physical Health Assessments (PHA) for flyers\/special duty personnel, initial certification exams for flying\/special duty applicants &#8211; Aeromedical disposition for flying\/special operational duty. &#8211; Conducting adaptability rating assessment for military special duty applicants. &#8211; Applying medical, fitness and profiling standards IAW AFIs 48-123, 36-2905 and 10-203 (including profiling and duty restrictions as Profile Officer) &#8211; Providing primary care for active duty personnel and their family members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Board Certification:<\/strong> Current board certification in Aerospace Medicine. Depending on HCW experience and residency, specific certification specialty (Aerospace Medicine) may be waived by the Chief of Flight Medicine. The DoD only recognizes certifications issued by boards that are members of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Licensure\/Registration:<\/strong> Must possess and maintain full, current, and unrestricted U.S Medical License.
