A standard U.S. Passport (blue cover) is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mandatory Qualifications<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education: <\/strong>Graduate of a Master\u2019s or Doctoral program in Nursing specifically accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), with a dedicated focus on Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Licensure:<\/strong> Maintain an active, current, valid, and unrestricted state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Registered Nurse (RN) from any of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or Guam. The license must be clear of any active or pending disciplinary or adverse actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Board Certification:<\/strong> Possess and maintain national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) from an approved national certifying body (such as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)). <em><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#660000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Certifications limited to pediatric, acute care, or adult-only populations are strictly prohibited due to the requirement to care for both adult service members and child dependents.<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clinical Experience:<\/strong> Demonstrate a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of continuous clinical experience within the last thirty-six (36) months as a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient primary care, family medicine, or urgent care setting. <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#660000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Demonstrate 40 hours of direct patient care per year over the past 3 years.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prescriptive Authority:<\/strong> Maintain a current and unrestricted Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration (Schedules II through V) and state prescriptive authority matching their APRN licensure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Life Support Certifications:<\/strong> The remote nature of the Medical Aide Station requires advanced emergency response capabilities. The FNP must possess and maintain hands-on, active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#660000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Online-only courses are strictly prohibited<\/mark><\/strong>; candidates must complete in-person, hands-on skills assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security Clearance:<\/strong> The provider must possess and maintain an active Department of War (DoW) SECRET security clearance prior to boarding and throughout the contract performance period.
