Family Medicine Physician

Argent Technologies, LLC is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday
0600 – 1800*

*8.5-to-9-hour shift which includes an uncompensated 30 minute or 1 hour meal break depending on the length of the shift worked. In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services more than 80 hours per two-week period

Alternate work schedules and telework are not authorized

Contract HCWs will not be required to work on federally recognized holidays.

The Family Practice Physician will perform services at the Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH) Branch Health Clinic (BHC) Makalapa, BHC Kaneohe Bay HI, or associated BHCs/Annexes within a 40-mile radius of the NHCH in support of NHCH on behalf of the Government.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications*

  • Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada
    • Foreign Trained Physicians: A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the United States. Evidence of equivalency required.
  • Internship/Residency: Completion of Family Practice Internship/Residency
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a family practice setting within the preceding 4 years or have completed a Family Practice residency training program within the preceding 2 years.
  • BLS: Possess and Maintain current BLS certificate
  • Board Certifcation: Possess and maintain board certification in Family Practice
  • Licensure/Registration: Possess current, active, full, unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the U.S.
  • DEA: Possess registration # and ability to write prescriptions for controlled substances
  • References: Must provide two letters of recommendation written within the preceding two years from practicing providers

HCW Health Requirements: Contractor shall provide documentation certifying health requirements such as immunizations, annual vaccinations, medical testing (i.e., tuberculosis, N95 particulate respirator duckbill mask fitting) and physical examination when required at the time of initial placement and annually thereafter, as required.

Annual Immunizations: HCWs must be immunized annually with the seasonal influenza vaccine and any other vaccine recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for HCWs or service/MTF specific guidance as outlined in DoDD 6205.02e

Occupational Health: The HCW shall obtain physical testing and a statement from the HCW’s licensed medical practitioner or a report of a physical examination.
