For more than a decade, Argent Technologies, LLC (Argent Tech) has sponsored the annual Society of USAF Flight Surgeons (SoUSAFFS) Society Social held in conjunction with The Annual Scientific Meeting of the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA).
The 2026 Society Social was held on May 20 at Henry’s Tavern, Denver, CO. The social provided a space for attendees to socialize and enjoy appetizers, drinks, and dessert.

The Society Social is an yearly event put on by the SoUSAFFS in conjunction with the The Annual Scientific Meeting of AsMA. Argent Tech provides the event tickets as well as a monetary contribution for the event each year.
AsMA is the longest-established professional society in aerospace medicine, founded in 1929, and the Annual Scientific Meeting is widely regarded as the global flagship event in the field, drawing physicians, flight surgeons, human-factors researchers, life-support engineers, regulators, and military medical officers from civil aviation and human-spaceflight programs.
The 2026 AsMA meeting was held in partnership with the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (UHMS) for the first time. This collaboration will continue over the next 5 years and, possibly, into the distant future. John Peters, the Executive Director of UHMS, is now also AsMA’s Executive Director, alongside Gisselle Vargas, the AsMA Deputy Executive Director.

The 97th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) took place from 17 to 21 May 2026 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown in Denver, CO. This year’s theme was “Boundless Frontiers – Relentless Progress.”
The 2026 Denver meeting continues AsMA’s tradition of bringing together the operational, clinical, and research communities under a single program. Approximately 1,000 attendees attended across five days, with parallel scientific tracks, plenary lectures, poster sessions, and constituent-organization meetings.
